It's a marathon, not a sprint.

I am resisting the urge to write Avengers/Sentinel fusion fic where Bruce is Tony's guide. Or Alpha/Omega fic, though I just read that and haven't tried to write A/O yet.

Why am I resisting this?

1)I have some many WIP's it's ridiculous.

2)I'm already writing a Losers/Sentinel fusion. Sentinel!Cougar/Guide!Jensen.

3)Working on another Loser's fic for someone on my f-list.

4)Original fic is original and hard and I am easily distracted.

5)I already have two Avengers AU's fic bunnies and they are cute and soft and have me cooing and nodding my head.

Had a great Mother's Day. My kids have been giving me drawings for about two weeks. And then on Mother's day K gave me a poem and Z gave me a bookmark that was made from a pic of her in her Phineas and Ferb tee shirt. It was pretty cool.

Stacey in his goal to try and surprise me got me an Ipad. Which, yes, it did surprise me since I was planning to get a laptop with my work bonus. (If this sounds familiar a similar thing happened last year with the Nook he got me for Mother's Day which I'd been planning to buy with that work bonus).

I love it. I have named it Bruce.


Any Ipad tips? I plan to get a wireless keyboard so I can type stories up. I'll have to figure all that out, but it'll be fun.

Saw Avengers again on Fridiay. Yoyodyne was having employment appreciation day and I appreciated the fact that we could leave after our luncheon so I went to the movies. Just as good if not better a 2nd time.

So yeah, my 10 yr old loved it. My 7 yr old fell asleep on my arm in the theater. But I'm already planning to go back next friday and see it alone.

I have seen the Avengers. It is a wonderful, beautiful thing.

I feel like an Avenger trying to dodge all these Avenger Spoilers. I have become an expert at saving articles and peoples comments that I want to read after I see the movie without actually reading the articles. I considered going to the midnight showing but I have to be up at 6:30 a.m. so no, no, I don't think so.

I was going to try and get off work early on Friday but that looks like a no go too. Though we are having a employment appreciation day next Friday and one of the options is we can leave early. I as an employee really appreciate that and might use that time to go see the movie. For the 2nd time.

So looks like Sunday will be my best bet. My 10 year old wants to go too. The 7 yr old will probably want to come just so she won't be left out. I'm already telling them, "no giant sodas,no bathroom breaks!"

Justified season finale was so good. Omg, just I love this show so much.

I loved Scandal! First ep hit it out the park, 2nd ep is tonight. Oh and Bonus Columbus Short! I didn't even know he was going to be on the show. I love him. He looked really good in the suit. Then the other guy reminded me of Methos.

I have to catch up on Fringe and Grimm. Nikita is still good. Loving Person of Interest. Over Easter weekend my dad had me watching 'Storage Wars.' Those people are crazy but it was a fun show.

I cannot stop watching this. What came first, the Friends AU fic or this Vid? Doesn't matter. Love both, want to squish both. Which is strange since yeah I've seen Friends, I've watched and liked it but not a fan fan.

K had her first Valentine's day dance tonight. I took pics. I will post them at some point. I can't believe she's 10 and going to a dance. I swear it was just yesterday I could hold her in one hand.

Loved the heart slavelabour! Now I want fic in various fandoms involving hearts.

Work is kicking ass. Fell asleep during H50 last night. Again. Behind on some shows. Plan to catch up a little this weekend.

Alcatraz was okay. Will tune in again. Still convinced main guy is the devil. Don't know why. I think I just miss Brimstone and want Lionel Luthor back on my Tv.

Just did five songs (about 20 minutes) of some Just Dance 3 on Wii. Me and hubby noticed when buying the game that it had a exercise option but I did that the other day and it looked the same as the dance option and for some reason I like the dance option better.

It was really fun! I danced to some Katy Perry "California Girls", some Britney Spears "One more time", some Taio Cruz "Dynamite", some Cee Lo's "Forget you" and even though I was feeling a little wiped I did a fifth song, LMFAO(?) "Party Rock Anthem."

During the dancing I talked and shouted at the dancers on the screen, telling them, 'my knees didn't bend that way!' or that that move wasn't happening. If I couldn't do the move I usually just kept doing the previous move. At least I was still moving. Plus, I like shouting at the TV.

Also I noticed the right hand is always lit up on the dancers but my right arm seemed to be getting more of a workout than the left arm so I switched the controller during one song and it was doable but you kind of have to switch some of the dance moves around. Still fun.

I might go and get the other ones, the Just Dance 1 & 2 once I work out some more to this one. The kids like it and like when I get up and dance with them.

Okay, need to stare at some fic and see if it will write itself. *stares hard*

I have no clue if the above quote is correct or not. But I love that song because it's at the end of 'It's a Wonderful Life' which I watch every year on Christmas Eve.

Had a great Christmas. Pics to come soon. Am currently eating double chocolate brownies and drinking Cherry Coke Zero as I usher in 2012.

I'm not a big New Year's Resolution type person. I do hope to accomplish some things this year so I'll just try and keep them in the forefront as the year starts.
